Shoffer, Frederick; 1755-1855; Anderson, Clinton County Indiana; Soldier, Virginia; Barbara Ann Fry

This Frederick has been listed as being buried in an American Revolutionary War Grave. The research I've done on him has found his name spelled: Frederick Sheffer and Frederick Schafer.

I can't help but think that he is related to our Frederick Shopher born 1795. I have not been able to make documented proof on this as I have only found 2 of the Frederick born 1755 children and I'm not sure how well documented that information is. Unfortunately, one is not a son named Frederick born 1795.

I have information on this Frederick leading back to 1675, so I do remain keeping my eye on this guy and will keep ya'll posted.

There is also an Adam Shofer, Private and a Jacob Shofer, Corporal that show up in the Revolutionary War Muster Rolls
