Okay....I really need everyone's opinion on this.  I know some of you are new to all the history of the Shopher name and stuff in the late 1800's and early 1900's may excite you.  But I've been doing genealogy going on 10-15 years now and I'm anxious to find people born in the early 1800's.  So my mind may be seeing more to the following photos than what others see.  So I'd really like to know anyone and everyone's opinion.

Okay, now we know during the Civil War that Jonas was captured and sent to Camp Douglas Illinois.  We know Calvin's military history is kind of sketchy, so we don't know if he was captured as well.  Below are 3 pictures.  The one on the left is Milton Archie Shopher grandson of Jonas Shopher. The one on the right is William Henry Shopher, son of Calvin Shopher.  The man in the middle is a picture of a Confederate Soldier that was a prisoner at Camp Douglas Illinois.   This picture was taken while he was a prisoner and is listed as unknown.   There's no way to find out the name of this soldier.  When I found this soldier there were some others listed as unknown, but this soldier just caught my eye and got me wondering.

Compare these photos and let me know what you think. Look at the resemblances with the ears, the noses, the cheek bones, the long narrow faces, the long slender hands, the chins, the facial structures in general.  I think William looks more like him, but again that may be my mind hoping, but William is closer in generation to Jonas and Calvin too.
