Cora Rena Brown - Harrisburg Arkansas

Cora Rena Brown, 90, of Harrisburg died Sunday, May 11, at Rose Skill Care Nursing Center in Jonesboro. Born in the Bethel community near Harrisburg, she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Harrisburg.

Survivors include her husband, Hosea Brown of the home; a son, Doyle Brown of Jonesboro; a sister, Nora Shopher of Sturgis, S.D.; three grandchildren, Stacie Brown, Terrel Brown and Claire Martin; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Walter Rorex and Dolly McGee Rorex, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home, with the Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Burial will follow in Harrisburg Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
