Eva A. Barret of Livermore

BARRETT, EVA A., Livermore, Cal. Funeral
services were held on Monday, October 20, 1975 for Eva Anna Barrett, who died suddenly at
the age of 62 years in a local hospital. She was a native of Racine, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Barrett and her husband, Roger Barrett,
moved to Livermore, Cal. from Southern California five years ago where she had worked for
many years for the RCA Corp. as an electronics technician. She was the only person on the
West Coast to hold a credential enabling her to do work on rockets. She personally
manufactured some of the engine parts on the rocket that carried the first United States
astronauts to the moon.
Besides her husband, she leaves two
daughters, Joan R. Jarrell of Alameda, Cal. and Barbara Ann Shopher
of Concord, Cal. Other survivors are three brothers and one sister, Russell Larsen and
Walter Larsen, both of Racine, Haven Larsen of Greenfield, Cal. and Ruth Hunter, also of
Racine. She also leaves two grandchildren."
