James William Shopher - Dallas County Texas

SHOPHER, James William, born December 27, 1934, passed away February 21, 1999, in Duncanville, Texas. A retired truck driver, he was a member of the Oak Cliff Masonic Lodge #705.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Elizabeth Shopher, parents Oliver & Lorene Shopher and brother Johnny Shopher. He is survived by his children: Bill Shopher, Cynthia Wright and Debra Kay Shopher all of Clarksville, Tennessee, Kathy Ross of Duncanville, Texas, Mike Grier of Arlington, Texas and Dwain Grier of Las Vegas, Nevada; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters Shirley Freismuth of Arlington, Texas and Patsy Srygley of Dekalb, Texas; brothers Charles Shopher of Dallas, Texas and Glen Shopher of Aubrey, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 1999 at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6-9pm Tuesday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
