Mary Alma Muse Bell, 81, of Marked Tree, died Thursday, Feb. 12, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

She had worked in retail sales and was a Baptist.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandy Bell Teague of Marked Tree, Debra Bell Kirkland of Ripley, Tenn., and Patti Bell Black of Clarksdale, Miss.; three sisters, Lucille Shopher of Oak Grove, La., Imogene Heckman of Jonesboro and Georgia Lee Barrett of Harrisburg; one brother, Leonard Muse of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren, Patrick Kirkland, Shannon Kirkland, Jeff Black, Leigh Ann Bowers, Jobi Jay Teague, Audra Byzet, Michael Kirkland and Holly Rae Teague; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Bell; a stepson, Billy Joe Bell; her parents; and a brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Marked Tree. Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home of Marked Tree.

Active pallbearers will include Jerry Teague, John Price, Jimmy Swift, Heath Griffith, Terry Clark, Michael Williams, Clay Clark and Jimmy Dunlap.

Honorary pallbearers will include Ritter Arnold, Darrell Bell, Randy Shinabery, Dr. Vestal Smith, Johnny Rye Jr., Jim Gillis, Larry Wray, Ricky Tubbs, Charley Williams and Jerry Heckman.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
