FRANCES LUCILLE ARNOLD

Mrs. Frances Lucille Arnold, 48 of Newark, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002 in Little Rock. She was born in West Helena on Oct. 15, 1953 the daughter of James Thompson and Mary Frances (Oxner) Thompson. She was a housewife and a member of the Newark Southern Baptist Church. Mrs. Arnold enjoyed crocheting, Bingo and taking care of her children. Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her father, James Thompson; her mother, Mary Frances (Oxner) Long; and her step-father, Craker Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Wayne Arnold of Newark; two sons, Billy Bruce Littleton of Southside and Bobby Joe Littleton of Newark; two brothers, Roger Thompson of Jonesboro and J.R. Broadway of Jonesboro; one sister, Mary Ann Boals of West Helena; and two grandchildren, Dalton Drake Littleton of Southside and Leandra Brynn Littleton of Southside.

Funeral service was 10 a.m. Monday at the Southern Baptist Church in Newark. Committal service was 2 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Helena. Pallbearers were Marlon Shopher, Gene McManners, Paul Vinson, Bobby Bennett, Scott Johnson and Michael Powell. Arrangements by Jackson's Newark Funeral Home.
