Obituary of Oscar Lee Shopher

Rites Announced For Dallas Man, Oscar L. Shopher  

Funeral services for Oscar Lee Shopher, 49, a Dallas pharmacy deliveryman, will be held at 2pm Tuesday in Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home, 2909 Live Oak.

Dr. J.A. Lovell will officiate, with the burial in Restland -Memorial Park.

Mr. Shopher, who was employed by Mays & Rosser Prescription Pharmacy, was dead on arrival `Saturday at a Dallas Hospital.  He was stricken by a heart attack while fishing at White Rock Lake.

A native of Ranger, Eastland County, Mr. Shopher had lived in Dallas most of his life.

Survivors, all of Dallas, are his wife; three sons, Bill, Jerry and LL Shopher; two brothers, CW and OG Shopher; one sister, Mrs. Mary Abbott; and one granddaughter.
